Acceptance of these terms
By using AppealSmith, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
What AppealSmith is — and isn't
AppealSmith is a document-preparation service. We help you prepare insurance appeal letters and inform your decisions with public data.
We are not a law firm, and using AppealSmith does not create an attorney–client relationship. Nothing here is legal advice. For complex cases or large sums, consult a licensed attorney.
No guarantee of outcome
We never guarantee that an appeal will succeed. Every verdict is presented as a probability based on published public data, not a promise. The decision belongs to your insurer and any external reviewer.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement to use AppealSmith. You agree to provide accurate information.
Payments, fees, and guarantee
The verdict is free. The appeal package is a flat, one-time fee shown before you pay — never a percentage of any amount you recover. Payments are processed by Razorpay; we never see or store your card details.
Fight-On Guarantee: if your appeal is denied, we prepare your next-level appeal at no additional charge. Quality refunds: if your letter contains wrong facts or a wrong deadline, we refund you in full — see our Refund & Cancellation Policy for the full process and timelines.
Your responsibilities
You confirm the facts used in your appeal and you are the author and sender of every letter. You are responsible for reviewing your letter, filing it with your insurer, and meeting your deadlines. We provide preparation and reminders; we do not file on your behalf.
Privacy
Your use of AppealSmith is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your documents and data.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular result will be achieved.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AppealSmith's total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
AppealSmith prepares documents relating to United States health insurance appeals. Nothing in these terms constitutes the practice of law in the United States or in any other jurisdiction, and we make no representation that the service is appropriate or available outside the United States.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll change the date above, and continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
